Clifford is Mr Model Ghana

A 22 year old professional dancer with the Ghana Dance Ensemble, Clifford Selorm Ametepeh, has won the maiden Mr. Model Ghana competition in Accra.

The event aimed at discovering new faces for the modeling and fashion industry in Ghana and beyond took place at the Kama Conference Center recently.

The winner, Clifford, beat nine other male models in a fierce battle to win the ultimate prize - a trip to South Africa, a year’s management, shoes from Samarra, a one-year gym membership at Pulse Fitness.

Daniel Yankey of Takoradi Polytechnic was first runner-up and Frank, a student at the University of Ghana, Legon, was declared second runner-up. 

All the contestants went through the mandated four segments which comprised casual, corporate, avant garde and Daviva looks as well as question and answers segment which bordered on current affairs.

They had also been pre judged on a number of photo challenges and catwalk competitions prior to the final night.

The judges made up of  David Sakyi, C.E.O of Kwaku David Photography; Beatrice Asamoah, Managing Director of Pulse Fitness Gym and Jeanne Oti- Idissah, C.E.O of Ojeanne Clothing  then reduced the number to five for the final round which was a compulsory question for all the qualified models - Clifford Selorm Ametepeh, Daniel Yankey, Frank Acheampong, Isaac Ribbow and Sheriff Murphy Suley.

There were musical performances from J.jorm, Juri Kid and Yaa Yaa.
