FOR those who find it difficult to share their challenges in order to seek relief, music sensational duo DopeNation has a message for you: “open up”.

The duo’s latest single, Gbohe, released on Thursday, August 1, 2024 is a relatable song that encourages people not to bear their burdens alone but to find solace through communication.Gbohe, an energetic track that features an infectious blend of Afrobeats and Azonto with catchy hooks and lively beats, invites listeners to share their worries and not allow them weigh them down.

According to the duo, the song literally means ‘open up or free up’.

Sharing the  inspiration behind "Gbohe," produced by the duo themselves, with Graphic Showbiz, DopeNation emphasised the importance of sharing problems to find relief. They noted that many people become stressed over issues that could be easily resolved if only they opened up to others.

"Gbohe is our way of encouraging people not to choose the wrong ways of finding solutions to issues but to open up so they can be helped. They say a problem shared, is a problem solved, and we must all make this our mantra and keep going," the duo shared.

Gbohe is the second song released by DopeNation this year. The duo, comprise of identical twin brothers Micheal Boafo aka B2 and Tony Boafo, known as Twist. They are also known for their songs –Gboza, Naami, Thank God, Mind Your Business, Kpanla and Eish.
