Fans of Shatta Wale stoke Shatta/Burna Boy rivalry ahead of their performance at Afrochella tonight
Culture Management Group, organisers of Afrochella got fans excited when they announced Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale as one of the performing artistes at this year’s event currently happening at the Elwak Sports Stadium.
But even before Shatta Wale makes appearance on stage, his fans are already pitting him against Nigerian Afrobeats star, Burna Boy.
The two, have rather had a rusty relationship this year and followers of the Dancehal King hitmaker are confident their music icon will outshine the Grammy award winner with his stagecraft tonight.

“Odogwu can run away but can't hide. No matter what, we will rate Shatta's performance versus his. Father & Son incorporated,” Whyalways Ekow posted on social media.

This year’s festival is on the theme: “Afrofuturism” and seeks to explore the developing intersection of cultural aesthetic, philosophy of science, and philosophy of history as it relates to the African Diaspora.

Apart from Shatta Wale and Burna Boy, other artistes who will be performing tonight are Stonebwoy, Fireboy DML, AyraStarr, King Promise, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata, Kwesi Arthur, Kuami Eugene, Gyakie and Elaine Tobi are expected to also perform on the first day of the concert.
The second day will have; Fally Ipupa, Asake, dancehall showstopper Shatta Wale, Pheelz, Kidi, Albi-X, Young Stunna and Daliwonga, performing.
Some other Ghanaian artists, including Mzbel, Kwakese, Praye, Tinny, Tic Tac, will take patrons back into time with throwback hiplife records.
