Here comes Great Mathias
The gospel scene is choked with a lot of talents yet new artiste, Mathias Kissward aka Great Mathias, believes he can make it with his eight-track album titled ChwukuKaChwuku, a Nigerian (Igbo) expression meaning Lords of lords.

Songs on ChwukuKaChwuku are Okristo Ni, Ayiye Ben,We Praise Your Name, Atemuda and Hume Mobo.
Recorded by his own band, Akaak in Mamprobi, Accra ,ChwukuKaChwuku was released in March this year.
Great Mathias’ love for worship is reflected on his album as most songs are in the worship vein. With a soft voice, Great Mathias exalts Jesus Christ for the wonderful things He has done in his life on Ayiye Ben, one of the worship pieces. On the same song, he encourages everyone to trust God because He will never fail His children.
On Atemuda, also a worship song, He entreats Christians to build a good relationship with God because the end time is near.
“Everyone will be judged by God, so why don’t we do the right things and be saved by Him?” asks Great Mathias.
A lecturer at IPMC Information, Communication and Technology school on the Ring Road in Accra, Great Mathias told Showbiz he went through a lot of difficulties before finally coming out with his album.
“It is difficult for new artistes to survive because the gospel system is choked with great talents,” he stated.
