HMusic Studio launched to boost music production and connection

HMusic Studio, a cloud-based digital audio workstation (DAW), has officially launched in Accra to revolutionise music production in Ghana and beyond.

This platform offers real-time collaboration, mastering, publishing, and distribution tools, directly accessible from any browser or mobile device.

The launch has come a critical time when digitisation has become the backbone of the growth of music, giving patrons, particularly, Ghanaian artistes and creatives the opportunity to explore the growing faces of the innovation.

As such, the launch which took place at Rehab Beach in Accra on Saturday, September 6, was attended by creative players, artiste managers, the media including content creators.

The event, hosted by media personality Jay Foley, provided attendees with valuable insights into the importance and impact of digitization in the music industry.

This discussion is also particularly timely, given the recent resurgence of debates around reviving the sale of CDs.

Speaking at the launch, CEO of HMusic studio, Harrison Osondu Iheke highlighted the transformative impact HMusic Studio is set to deliver.

“HMusic is here to change the way the industry works.  From studio bookings to music services, we are putting the power into the hands of creatives, making the process seamless and accessible.

“The studio provides a centralised hub for booking studio sessions, connecting with professionals, and streamlining music production needs,” he said.

In a post interview with Graphic Showbiz, Mr Osundo Iheke said will lead democratizing music creation for under-resourced musicians as well as position itself as a game-changing force in Ghana's creative space.

“We intend to empower artistes and foster greater collaboration across countries through remote collaboration and features, help artistes distribute and earn from music globally, enable talents or artistes to discover other artistes in their space or region coupled with creating EPKs and promoting across social channels,” he said.

There were music performances by Gasmilla and Micka Diamond.
