Victoria Michaels honoured at 40 Under 40 Achievers Awards
Ghanaian modelpreneur, philanthropist, and climate advocate Victoria Michaels has once again been recognised for her impact, winning the Climate Change & Sustainability category at the prestigious 40 Under 40 Achievers Awards.
Stepping onto the stage in a graceful Vlisco gown styled by Paon, with Afro Elle behind her hair and H.O Beauty Bar on makeup, Michaels delivered a stirring call to action.
“Our waste must be segregated, recycled, upcycled, and disposed of properly,” she urged.
The award highlights her years of dedicated work in environmental advocacy, from leading coastal clean-ups across Ghana to engaging with global leaders such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tony Blair at the Austrian World Summit. As EU Goodwill Ambassador in Ghana and Chief Inspiration Officer at Fashion Connect Africa (FCA), Michaels continues to position herself as a voice for sustainability and youth empowerment.
In an emotional dedication, she said: “I dedicate this award to every child, mother, and youth wondering if their community will ever be clean again. Don’t lose hope—help is coming.”
The evening also carried a personal touch as Michaels shared a celebratory moment with her longtime friend and host Shirley Emma Tibila (Cooke), marking 20 years of friendship and shared growth.
