Entertainment icon, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) has apologised to the lady at the centre of the alleged rape case.
A letter dated January 12, 2015 and signed by KKD said, “…I truly and sincerely apologise for the public ridicule and disgrace that have ensued by reason of the fleeting pleasure of the flesh involving .... and myself.”

KKD was arrested on Sunday, December 27, 2014 by the Airport Police for allegedly raping a 19-year-old lady.
Although he admitted having sex with the lady, he denied forcing her.
He has since been on remand after a Kaneshie District Magistrates' Court denied him bail.
His lawyers applied for bail at the Human Rights Court but the case was adjourned to Thursday, January 15.
In a dramatic turn, the accuser in a two-page letter addressed to the Director of Public Prosecutions at the Attorney General’s Department said she was no longer interested in pursuing the case.
