It was just friendly banter — Kuami Eugene on 'beef with DopeNation
Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene says he did not think his comments about DopeNation would cause such a big problem.
The former Lynx Entertainment artiste spoke about the issue in an interview with Kula, the Headless YouTuber, saying he thought everything would die down on its own.
"I was expecting us to move on," he said.
He now admits his words may have hurt more than he intended."If I knew it would get to this extent, I wouldn't have said it in the first place," he said.
But do not expect him to say sorry anytime soon.
"They should calm down. I don't hate them in any way," he stated.
When asked if he would apologise, he was clear.
"I'm not even apologising. I'm just saying that they should calm down."
He did say, however, that he would be happy to meet DopeNation in person one day and talk things over quietly.
