Julie Juu resurfaces and asks: Who wants me?

“Why would I not honour an invitation by the police if indeed they are looking for me” Julie Juu asked.

Julie Juu told Showbiz that she was only helping her two accusers to travel outside the country.

“Grace Okyere who is accusing me of robbing her of Gh¢6,500 came to me with all sorts of problems, ranging from her marital problems to her daily life challenges.  After listening to her, I was touched by her story and decided to help her out but after being refused a visa three times by the UK Embassy, I think I have done my best.” 

Although she admitted taking money from  Grace Okyere and Alex Dyeabour, Julie Juu claims she took Gh¢4,000  from each of them and not Gh¢13,500  which they claimed in last week’s publication.

According to Julie Juu, she rather had regularly given money to Grace Okyere  anytime Grace was in need. “If I am to calculate all the money I have given Grace including the visa fees, I think Grace will rather be owing me.” Julie Juu said.

Asked if she would pay back Grace  Okyere and Alex Dyeabour, Julie Juu said she  would only pay back Alex’s money to him after deducting what was spent  on aquiring a passport for him but not Grace.

Julie Juu denied claims that she used her connections with officials at Ghana Broadcasting Corporation who assist people to travel out the country.

“I want Ghanaians to know that, I am not a visa fraudster and I am also not out to dupe anybody.  I was just trying to be nice to someone with whom I worship in the same church but if I knew things  would turn out this way, I wouldn’t have offered to help her out” Julie Juu said.
