KK Fosu “On Show” at Aboakyer Festival

It was a “blast” for patrons who thronged the Run Off Restaurant at Winneba when highlife artiste, KK Fosu, took the audience back to back on some of his popular songs.

The words of some of his hit songs such as Sugw3, Anadwo y3d3 and Yapesi filled the auditorium as the revellers sang and danced along to them on the night.

Concerts formed part of the major activities at the week-long celebration of the Aboakyer Festival by the natives of Efutu in the Central Region a fortnight ago.

According to organisers of the event, Nyce Media, who collaborated with Top FM, this year's festival was successful as it pulled hundreds of music lovers to watch the artiste “live in action”.

The show also saw celebrities such as boxer Ayittey Powers, actress Rose Mensah (Kyeiwaa) and radio presenter, Kofi Koom Bilson entertaining the “charged” audience.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz after the event, the Chief Executive Officer of Nyce Media, Dr James Kofi Mensah said he was happy with the turn-out at the event and promised a bigger and better event next year.

"It is a good thing to see people turning out like this for the festival. This is what we targeted and we are planning to make it bigger next year. We are committed to thrilling fans as we look forward to attracting a huge crowd for the festival," he stated.
