“It was a wonderful feeling to see so many fans around. Some even had to go away because they couldn’t find packing space,” said Ohene after the show. “People had a good time and that was the most important thing.”
The Dadis Band had already warmed the atmosphere by the time three of Koforidua’s fast-rising acts: Kabala, Dasebreba Kwame Ratty and Obaya took turns to heat up the venue even more. The Squagyes, previously known as TH 4 Kwages, then came on with some of their memorable tracks which were well-received by the guests at the programme.

He rendered material from the EP with tight backing from Dadis Band. His session was an enthralling one as he summoned all his singing flair to please the crowd, several of whom also bought copies of the EP.
Top officials of some of the sponsoring companies, including Joy Industries Limited, Danny Phones, FrontPage Electronics, Koforidua Guest Hotel and Print Boss, were there for the show. Ohene said he was grateful to them, as well as all others who turned up to support him.
The Akatakyie duo came after Ohene with songs many sang along with, followed by Shasha Marley who provided a rousing reggae feel to what was definitely a successful pre-Independence Day bash for the people of Koforidua.
Ohene indicated that there were plans to take the March 4 Dadis Bar package to some other regional capitals.
