Kojo Antwi presents memoir to US Embassy

Ghanaian music legend Kojo Antwi has presented an autographed copy of his memoir, Mr. Music Man: The Journey, to the United States Embassy in Accra.

The presentation was made during a visit to the embassy, where the musician met the Chargé d’Affaires, a.i., Rolf Olson.

In a post by the US Embassy on facebook yesterday, the meeting provided an opportunity for discussions on music, culture and the strong people-to-people relations between Ghana and the United States.

The engagement highlighted the role of music and cultural exchange in fostering connections between people of the two countries.

Kojo Antwi, affectionately known as Mr Music Man, is one of Ghana’s celebrated musicians, with a career spanning several decades and a catalogue of songs that have earned him a lasting place in the country’s music industry.

His memoir, Mr. Music Man: The Journey, offers an opportunity to reflect on his life and musical journey, which has seen him build a reputation as one of Ghana’s leading highlife and contemporary African music artistes.

The meeting with the US Embassy adds to the musician’s engagements beyond the stage, bringing his story and contribution to Ghanaian music into conversations about cultural relations and international connections.
