Medikal: I’m overwhelmed by celebs support

Although Medikal knew his debut album launch would be well attended by his teeming fans, he did not expect such massive support from his colleague musicians.

He was overwhelmed to find his colleagues such as Sarkodie, Wanlov, Kofi Kinaata, Sister Derby, 5Five, Donzy, Kwaw Kese, among others at the Westhills Mall last Saturday when he outdoored his Disturbation album

“To have Sarkodie, Wanlov, Kofi Kinaata, Sister Derby, 5Five, Donzy, Kwaw Kese, King Promise, Crystal Gesus, DKB, Criss Waddle come support my album launch was something else. Although I invited them, I didn’t think they will all show up like they did,” he told Showbiz in an interview.

According to Medikal, in addition to showing up, his colleagues performing on stage means a lot to him, thus, he is very grateful to all of them.

Other activities that marked the six-hour album launch which was powered by Ghana Music.com with support from Silverbird and New York Sizzler included autograph of his CDs, giveaway of his T-Shirts, photo sessions with Medikal and other celebs present etc.

Some of the songs on Disturbation are Saa, Smallest Time, Gimme Vibe, Wetin, Come My Way, Too Risky, Yaro, Soldier and Beautiful Africa.

The 21- track album features artistes such as Stonebwoy, Bisa Kdei, Shatta Wale, Falz, Pappy Kojo, Attitude, Sister Doborah, Wanluv and Sista Afia.
