Reggae artiste, Osagyefo will headline this year’s Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Festival scheduled for Saturday, September 20 at Gold Coast Restaurant and Cocktail Bar in Accra.
Other artistes billed for the concert are Ras Boomba, Kojo Kombolo, Konkarah Jah Vybz, Aklerhand Fred Kente.
The others are Jahwi, Nana Ntow, Nananom band and Taking over the band. The free admission concert will begin at 7:00pm and will be compered by King Lagazee and DD.
His performance at the upcoming show comes few weeks after being awarded by the Marcus Mosiah Garvey Foundation (MMGF) for using his music to empower African unity and consciousness at the foundation’s awards Gala on Saturday, August 16.
Osagyefo, real name, Dennis Afram, has gained respect in the music industry for his powerful, socially conscious music.
Osagyefo’s music aligns with ideals championed by Marcus Garvey, promoting universal love, African pride, and addressing pressing social issues.
His music has earned him international recognition for its commitment to using art as a voice for change and political awakening.
