Stonebwoy holds concert to launch new album

When he staged his Bhim-Nation Thank You concert at the Tema Sports stadium a fortnight ago, reigning Artiste of the Year, Stonebwoy, no doubt performed to the admiration of his fans.

And today, the artiste will stage another concert to officially launch his new album titled, Necessary Evil, at the Trade Fair Centre, La, Accra.

The concert, which was preceded by a road show yesterday, saw the the Baafira hitmaker  storm communities in Ashaiman and its environs.

The album features some popular songs such as Bhim Nation, Pull Up, Can’t Cool and Baafira, which earned him the  Dancehall Artiste of the Year, Danchall Song of The Year and the Artiste of the Year Awards at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

Stonebwoy will be supported at the concert by artistes such as MzVee, EL and Edem. Stonebwoy told the Daily Graphic that today’s show would be a “taste of what my fans should expect from me.

“This is an album that has given me much recognition in the Ghanaian music circles and as such, I need to give my best and to match up my new status as Ghana’s Artiste of the year,” he said.

Last year, Stonebwoy started his BhimNation tour, which saw him hold a mini-concert in the Volta Region; he stated that he would resume the tour next month.
