Leave a mark wherever you work— Nana Romeo
ACCRA FM’s mid-morning show host Abdul Karim known in showbiz circles as Nana Romeo has asked his colleague radio presenters to leave a mark at their work places before exiting.
He said it is always good to give a good impression of yourself at your place of employment so that when you leave, you will be remembered for your hard work.
“Before I move to any station, I make sure I pay my dues at my previous station and I am cool with everyone that I worked with. There is no way I would move to a new place when I haven’t paid my dues at my previous place.

“I work to the satisfaction of all my bosses and with that, I am missed all the time when the next radio presenter is not a suitable replacement,” he told Graphic Showbiz in an interview recently.
He explained that by leaving a mark at his previous station, he could always return since his efforts and hard work were appreciated.
“I worked at Space FM in Sunyani and later moved to Obuasi to host O FM’s Drive Time and then to Rainbow Radio in Accra. Today, my former bosses will not hesitate to take me back due to my efficiency,” he said.
According to Nana Romeo, who started his radio presenting at Asta FM in Techiman, some of his colleagues were blinded by money and exit a place of work without proper reflection.
“Money has never been the reason I move but I always love to try new things. All my moves have been positive because I do a background check of where I am going and I haven’t regretted so far,” he said.
During his career, Nana Romeo has hosted a number people including the legendary Kojo Antwi, Mrs Anne Sophie AVÉ, Ambassador of France to Ghana, Dr Obengfo, Nana Aba Anamoah, Juliet Ibrahim, Funny Face, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Tagoe Sisters just to mention a few .
