Mobumegament ready to support creative industry
A US-based company, Mobumegament Enterprises has opened an office in Ghana to provide financial support for players in the creative industry.
According to the CEO/co-founder of the company, Jessica Lewis, the lack of professional support and investment in to the industry was a major challenge.
She said as a result, some talented individuals have abandoned their dreams and ventured into other profitable ventures as a means to survive.

Her outfit, she explained has decided to provide the resources and channels which will support creatives, particularly young people to realise their dreams.
“The music talents of Blacks all over the world has never been in doubt and as an African American who has always been proud of the music exploits of Ghana, it is a great joy to know that a company that I head is in the country to support music talents.
“I’ve been following Ghanaian artistes and I’m very confident that with the right resources and professional guidance, we can be prouder of the generation of artistes to hold the mantle for Ghanaian music,” she told The Mirror.
Ms Lewis, who has over two decades of experience in Real Estate, Management Consulting, Project Management, Public Speaking, Corporate Training and Commercial Lending, said she will use her exposure and experiences to nurture young talents.
Aside music, she added that the company will also give other creatives such as spoken word and visual artists the opportunity to develop their talents.
“This forms part of our new goals at Mobumegament Entertainment to build the media and entertainment space in Ghana,” she added.
