The grand finale, which took place at the National Theatre in Accra, saw Aiko, the Oti Region’s representative emerging as first runner-up and Asiedua from the Central Region, as the second runner-up.

Her feat did not come easy as she faced stiff competition from Aiko, Asiedua, Eastern Region’s Amoani and Xornam from the Volta region.

She became the third person from the region to be crowned as the Ghana’s most beautiful since the pageant started.

In addition to the crown, she went home with a brand new car, a year’s supply of GTP fabrics, A Techno Camon 19 phone, five boxes of Vitamilk, an Airteltigo home office to run her project, hampers from carex, Claire lotion, Darling Alcoholic drink and a cash prize of GH₵10,000.

Aiko, whose full name is Glory Efua Aiko Adade, 20, a Veterinary Medicine student at the University of Ghana, received hampers from all the sponsors plus a cash prize of GH₵8,000.
Asiedua, 24, a Journalist and Gender Activist, also received GH₵6,000 and hampers from all sponsors, while Amoani, 30 and Xornam, 25, received GH₵5,000 and GH₵3,000 respectively, as well as hampers from the sponsors.

It was a night of music and beauty, as popular Ghanaian artistes -Stonebwoy and Kwabena Kwabena- performed to the admiration of the audience.
Ghana’s Most Beautiful was launched in 2007 to educate Ghanaians and the world on the various cultural values and heritage of the various regions, and to promote development through culture and unity.
This year’s competition, which started in July with 16 contestants, run for 13 weeks.
