POJOS old students support alma mater
The Assistant Headmaster of the Pope John's Senior High School (POJOS) and Minor Seminary in Koforidua in the Eastern Region, Mr Edward Adjepong, has urged old students of the school to continue to support their alma mater.
He said the needs of the school were such that it would require the support of all stakeholders, including old students to make progress.
He made the call when the 1998 Year Group of the school presented a-49 inch Samsung Smart Television set and textbooks on Social Studies, Science and Mathematics to the school.

The donation was the second of its kind to the school by the group.
Mr Adjepong said the school had continuously performed well in all examinations due to the commitment of management and teachers of the school to always go for the best.
He thanked the group for the gesture and assured that the items would be put to good use.
He urged other year groups to emulate the shinning example of the 1998 group.
The spokesperson for the group, Mr Emmanuel Osei Poku Boateng, said the presentation was the group’s widow’s mite to "this great institution which has made us what we are today".
He said the group had lined up a number of support including internet connectivity to the school to aid teaching and learning.
