The Executive Director of the foundation, Mr Robert Abeku Ansah, made the presentation at the annual review ceremony of the clinic. He expressed the hope that the donation would improve the resource base of the clinic and allow it to provide efficient healthcare services to patients.

He said because the government alone could not address challenges that health institutions were confronted with, it had become necessary for other stakeholders to contribute their quota towards bringing about improved healthcare services.

According to him, his outfit would continue to assist health facilities in the Agona East District to make them capable of addressing the health needs of the people in the area.

He called on natives of Agona Asafo both home and abroad, to assist the town in development and support neighbouring communties to also develop.

Madam Emma Kwakye Amponsah received the items on behalf of the clinic and expressed her gratitude to the foundation for the assistance.

She urged other NGOs in health as well as institutions and organisations to support health institutions in the country, particularly those in remote areas, to enable them to meet the health needs of the people.
