Agradaa's 15 years jail sentence reduced to 12 months and fined GH¢2,400
Agradaa also commonly known as Mama Pat has had her 15 years jail sentence reduced to 12 months and fined GH¢2,400.
The Amasaman High Court has reduced the sentence of former traditionalist turned evangelist, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa from 15 years to 12 months.

The court gave the ruling today [Feb 5, 2026] after it partly upheld the appeal of Agradaa, which challenged her sentence by the Accra Circuit Court on the basis that she was not afforded fair trial and her sentence was harsh.

Agradaa was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment each on two counts of defrauding by false pretence, with the court ordering Agradaa to serve the two sentence concurrently.
The convict was also fined GH¢300 for charlatanic advertisement.
The conviction and sentence stemmed from a televised broadcast in 2022 in which Agradaa told the public she was willing to share GH¢300,000 to the needy during a church service, but ended up taking various sums of money from people without giving out any money.
