Amamorley Sun City residents celebrate Christmas with street party
The streets of Sun City in Amamorley in Greater Accra were transformed into a vibrant party hub on Christmas Eve, as hundreds of residents and landlords gathered for a fun-filled celebration.
Organized by the Suncity Landlords and Landlords Association, with support from the residents, the block party and street fiesta brought together people from all walks of life.

The event kicked off in the morning on December 24 with a children's version, complete with sumptuous food, bouncy castles, and a swimming pool.
As the day wore on, the festivities only grew in intensity. Residents, occupying about 150 metres of the main Sun City Street and with music provided by Tufnet Entertainment and Sika Yɛdɛ Band, indulged in food, drinks, and dance, making merry and ushering in a blessed year.
The highlight of the evening came when residents joined in singing "To God be the glory" with landlord Ohemeng Agyei, expressing their heartfelt gratitude to God for the gift of life.
In a brief remark, the Vice Chairman of Suncity Landlords and Landlords Association encouraged non-members to join the association to promote unity and bonding among residents.
Residents who attended the event were unanimous that Christmas celebration at Sun City was a testament to the power of community and the joy of coming together to mark special occasions.
They said they looked to the future with a renewed sense of unity and collective purpose to build a strong bond among residents of the area.
