The website to be accessed on www.anglicanguildofthegoodshepherd.com/index.html will be regularly updated to showcase events and programmes of the group from parishes, archdeaconries and at diocesan levels.

It is also intended to serve as a link between members of the association in Ghana and the Anglican Communion in other parts of the world in their quest to win more souls for Christ.

Addressing the ceremony, the outgoing National Master Shepherd, Sister Nelly Buaku, said the world continued to change due to technology and the executive thought it wise to create the website to exhibit the activities of the association.

She noted that letter writing had gone down considerably and the use of telegrams to send quick messages was also no more.

According to her, the website was to enable members to be abreast of the activities of the association, as well as help them to communicate with each other very quickly and easily.

She expressed the hope that the website would enable members far and near to know the work being done by the Guild of the Good Shepherd.

She urged members of the association to regularly visit the website so as to contribute to the development of the church worldwide.

The chairman for the occasion, Mr Henry K.A. Tettey, who launched the website, said the new innovation would help connect the association to others worldwide.

He advised the members to continue to work towards the growth of the association and the church.
