The scholarship package is extensive: two children of each victim will receive full educational support at DPS International School in Tema, covering tuition, uniforms, and boarding, all the way to ‘A’ Level.
Beyond academics, the school is known for nurturing resilience, excellence, and global opportunities.
The Presidential Advisor on Legal Affairs, Marietta Brew, lauded the initiative, calling it “a priceless investment in the future.” She praised DPS International as one of Ghana’s top institutions, producing world-class graduates.
She recalled that her niece excelled at DPS, and noted the shining example of Oheneba Kwame Kyeretwie, son of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, now at Wesleyan University, USA, studying Astronomy after graduating with distinction.
“This act will be greatly welcomed by His Excellency the President,” she said.
