Bawumia honoured as "Ntentankesehene" for impactful digital initiatives and vision

The Vice President and Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has been honoured by the Chief of Nsawam, Nana Kwamena Ansah I, for his significant contributions to the digital growth of Ghana. 

During Dr. Bawumia's campaign tour of the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency on Friday, Nana Kwamena Ansah warmly welcomed him to his palace, praising the Vice President's digitalization-focused vision for the country.

"It is historic for Nsawam that Bawumia is here. He has shown that he knows tradition, and on behalf of the people, I am extremely happy to welcome him," said Nana Kwamena Ansah I.

In recognition of Dr. Bawumia's digital initiatives and forward-thinking vision for Ghana, the Chief of Nsawam conferred upon him the honorary chieftaincy title "Ntentankesehene," meaning King of the World Wide Web.

"The digital agenda he seeks to advance in order to move this country forward is a great idea, which I believe is possible. As a result, I confer on him the chieftaincy title Ntentankesehene, in recognition of what he has done and what he aims to achieve for this country," said the Nsawam Chief.

Nana Kwamena Ansah I also expressed his strong belief in Dr. Bawumia's vision for Ghana and assured the Vice President of his prayers.

"We know Dr. Bawumia has what it takes to develop the country," he added. "We are praying for him. May the Almighty God grant his positive vision towards the development of the country."
