Personnel from the Adenta Fire Station have recovered the body of an 11-year-old boy, identified as Samuel Awalime, who drowned in a pit at Adenta Aviation.
The body was retrieved on Monday, July 13.
Firefighters worked alongside personnel from the Ghana Police Service, as well as chiefs and members of the traditional council, to conduct a search and recovery operation.
After several hours of intensive operations, the body of Samuel Awalime was retrieved from the pit at approximately 10:50 hours and subsequently handed over to the Ghana Police Service Adenta Division for the necessary investigations and further action.
