Corporate bodies honoured at Ghana-France event

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Ghana (CCIFG) has marked its 10th anniversary with an awards ceremmony in Accra that honoured outstanding business concerns operating in the local environment.

Celebrating what is said to be a decade of fostering strong business relationships between France and Ghana, the event honoured TotalEnergies as the CCIFG Company of the Year.

Also honoured were Labadi Beach Hotel which received the Customer Service Excellence Award and Golden Exotics Ltd which received the Community Impact Award.

Dutch & Co was handed the Innovation Excellence Award, while MYHEALTHCOP received the Product/Service of the Year Award.

It was also the sixth annual CCIFG Gala and fifth Annual Awards Night of celebration, recognition, and remarkable milestones.

In attendance were distinguished guests, including the French Ambassador to Ghana, Jules-Armand Aniambossou; Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif; the Chief executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Yofi Grant; and the Deputy Head of Mission at the European Delegation, Jonas Claes.

The presence of the marquee dignitaries appeared to underscore the importance of the event and the strong ties between the French and Ghanaian business communities.

Guests were treated to a spectacular athletic performance by Decathlon Ghana, featuring displays inspired by Olympic sports, showcasing the pinnacle of athletic prowess and dedication.

The awards ceremony was the highlight of the night, where outstanding member companies were honoured for their exceptional projects, activities, and services over the past year.

Formalities on the night commenced with TV personality and the event’s MC, Kokui Selormey, performing the French and Ghanaian anthems to set the stage for a night of camaraderie.
