Speaking at the introduction of a Friday wear for both workers and board members of MASLOC, Mrs Sedina Christine Tamakloe Attionu urged the staff to always uphold the institution’s core values, and indicated that the Friday wear was not just for fashion, but to differentiate them from others.

The government’s policy of having workers to wear traditional attire on Fridays has caught up with many government and private institutions in the country.

Local textile manufacturers and designers have benefited greatly from the policy as more workers now go in for local prints, which they give out to designers to sew styles of their choice.

MASLOC is the latest institution to have introduced the Friday wear. This is an initiative instituted by Mrs Attionu to mark the institution’s eighth anniversary celebration.

She asked the staff to eschew factionalism and rather work as a team to achieve the objectives of the institution.

She asked them to see themselves as brothers and sisters who were working together for the good of the organisation.

The unveiling of the Friday wear was witnessed by the MASLOC Board Chairman, Col. Kaku Korsah, and other board members, namely Mr Mortey Akpadzi, Mr Pius Austin, Madam Afinmoro, Hajia Miriam Sinare and Mr Oti Mensah.
