He made the commendation when he paid a courtesy call on the Editor of the paper, Mr Ransford Tetteh, in his office in Accra.
Mr Heider, who was accompanied by the Deputy Head of Mission, Mr El-Hosiny Khaled, assured the company that the doors of the embassy were always open to its journalists who needed clarification on issues concerning Egypt.
He said this would strengthen the international ties between Ghana and Egypt, saying that his outfit was doing this in response to a call by President John Dramani Mahama to strengthen ties between foreign organisations and local businesses.
Capacity-building programmes
He said there were opportunities for capacity building in Egypt and asked the Graphic Editor to take advantage of that to improve the skills and knowledge of its reporters.
He said it was possible for his outfit and Graphic to undertake exchange programmes.
Medical convoy
He stated that the Embassy was preparing a medical convoy to visit the country in July to undertake medical sessions at the Ridge Hospital to improve health care in the country

Mr Tetteh explained that time constraints sometimes prevented the paper from waiting for responses from missions or organisations on issues raised by the international media which affected them.
He added that the paper had been seeking such opportunities to open up the way to help go beyond the foreign media sites for stories.
Mr Tetteh added that the Daily Graphic had good working relations with the Egyptian Embassy, adding that it would be prudent for the two organisations to work together to support growth.
