Close ranks for victory - Bawumia campaign team member to NPP faithful
The immediate past Controller and Accountant-General, Kwasi Kwaning-Bosompem, has admonished supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to close their ranks and rally behind the party's flag bearer, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, to break the eight-year electoral jinx come December 7, 2024.
He has, therefore, urged supporters of the party who had been wronged in one way or the other by their peers to forgive and forget, join forces and mount intensive political campaigns to ensure a resounding victory in the upcoming general election.

Mr Kwaning-Bosompem, who is a member of the Dr Bawumia campaign team, was speaking to the Daily Graphic at Akyem Swedru after accompanying the flag bearer on his Eastern Regional campaign tour where he addressed mammoth rallies at Akyem Oda, Akyem Swedru, Akyem Achiase, Ofoase, New Abirem and Kade.
He stressed that the advice was imperative because without reconciliation, unity of purpose and intensive political campaigns, winning the crucial upcoming general election would be a mirage.
Incorruptible
Mr Kwaning-Bosompem described Dr Bawumia as a man with integrity, humble, affable, hardworking and who was incorruptible.
He stated that when voted as the next President of the republic, Dr Bawumia would revamp the national economy and create employment avenues to absorb the teeming unemployed youth in the country.
Mr Kwaning-Bosompem emphasised that considering the genuine support demonstrated by the people during the tour, he was optimistic that Dr Bawumia and the NPP would chalk up a landslide victory in the forthcoming general election.
He cautioned the electorate to disregard the vain promises by former President John Mahama who plunged the nation into total darkness for four years, cancelled nursing and teacher training allowances.

Mr Kwaning-Bosompem stated that if former President Mahama is re-elected he would collapse the free senior high school programme and the national health insurance scheme to bring more hardships on the people.
