
Ga Mantse donates to National Chief Imam
The Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru ll, has donated assorted food items to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osmanu Nuhu Sharubutu, in support of the ongoing Ramadan fast being observed by Muslims globally.
The items included 100 bags of rice, 20 gallons of oil, 10 boxes of tin tomatoes, 10 packets of milo, 10 packs of milk, 10 bags of sugar and100 packs of bottled water.
A delegation from the Ga Mantse Palace, led by the Sempe Mantse, Nii Adote Otintor, presented the items on behalf of Nii Tsuru.
Present at the event included the Chief of the Teiko Tsuru We Royal House, Nii Teiko Okai Reindorf I, and the Noyaa Mantse (Developmental Chief) of the Onomrako Adain Family of Greater Accra, Nii Kwame Ladjelor, who described himself as a son of the Chief Imam.
Nii Adote Otintor thanked God for the grace He had bestowed upon them to have a conversation with the Chief Imam.
He described Sheikh Sharubutu as someone who had love for mankind, adding that the warm reception offered them by the Chief Imam demonstrated the true love he had for people.
Blessings
Nii Otintor, therefore, prayed for God’s bountiful blessings and long life upon the life of the Chief Imam and his family.

“The way he accepted us should continue and that we the Gas would not forget this. His issues are our issues and our issues are also his,” he said.
Nii Otintor said whatever the Chief Imam wanted them to do, and called upon them, they would respond promptly, adding that “we love him so much and we pray to God to continue to bless him”.
He wished all Muslims a successful end to the fasting and for the blessings to benefit the nation.
Appreciation
Sheikh Sharubutu thanked the Ga Mantse for the support, and said the items would be shared among the poor and the underprivileged.
He prayed for God’s blessing and development for the Ga State as well as peace and tranquillity in the country.
The Chief Imam prayed for God’s blessings upon the President and the entire citizenry, saying it was God who chose a leader, and that once a person was chosen, it was incumbent for all to pray and support him.
He asked the President’s appointees to serve with humility and be truthful in whatever they said or did.
