Some persons have ransacked the offices of the Social Welfare, Community Development and Veterinary Services in Tamale, looting valuable belongings.
The items looted include furniture, official documents and essential equipment.
The Daily Graphic gathered that the perpetrators forcefully gained access to the premises and carried away items meant for public services.
The police have since announced the arrest of 12 persons for their involvement in various infractions in public, including participation in the break-in and theft of state assets.
