Tonight’s Presidential Business Dinner postponed
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Business Development & Entrepreneurship Committee, in consultation with the Office of the President, has postponed the Presidential Dinner planned for the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) at 6 p.m. tonight.
The postponement is to afford the business community to appreciate the contents of the State of the Nation Address (SONA) being delivered by President John Dramani Mahama today.
The postponement will also enable the business community to take into account various government initiatives to be announced in the budget on March 11, this year.
Chairman of the NDC Business Development Committee, Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, said a new date would be announced by the Planning Committee after the budget had been read.

“The Planning Committee very much appreciates the tremendous support already received from the business community towards the Dinner Event,” the chairman said in a statement.
Dr Spio-Garbrah, who is also a former Minister of Trade and Industry said sponsorships arranged and tickets sold remained valid and should be retained.
“All inconveniences occasioned by this postponement are deeply regretted,” the statement added.
