Stephen’s mother handed him over to his male partner at the marriage ceremony which was witnessed by friends and family including Stephen’s school mates from Achimota School.

A video circulating on social media shows Stephen's mother walking him majestically to hand him over to his partner.

The video also shows Stephen's school mates said to be from the 1991 Year group from Achimota (Motown), congratulating him at the wedding.

“The only school that has produced Presidents, not only in Ghana but in Zimbabwe, in The Gambia, Governors from Nigeria, the best thing British colonial rule could do for Ghana, give us that British school, and so we support Stephen by singing our school song,” they said and subsequently sang Achimota School’s anthem.

Stephen also attended University Primary School at Legon.
