The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed seven new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 170 as of July 6, 2025.
In its latest update, the GHS indicated that no new deaths have been recorded, with the national death toll remaining zero.
Furthermore, there are currently no patients on admission, suggesting that all active cases are being managed without the need for hospitalisation.
The GHS reiterated that Mpox is primarily spread through close contact with infected individuals and is urging the public to adhere strictly to safety protocols to limit transmission.
Health authorities assured the public that surveillance and response systems remain fully activated to promptly manage any emerging cases.
