GJA releases list of 2025 Media Award nominees

The awards committee of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) has released the list of award nominees for the 29th GJA Media Awards. The awards ceremony is being hosted by the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi this weekend.

The award nominees are Severious Kale-Dery for Best in News (print), Edmund Smith-Asante, Timothy Ngnenbe, and Justice Agbenorsi, all from the Graphic Communications Group Ltd (GCGL).

The Daily Graphic newspaper has also been nominated for the Best Newspaper Layout award.

There are a total of 38 nominees for the Media Awards.
