Graphic Business/Stanbic Bank forum discusses Implications for Election Year Budget Deficit
Business leaders and analysts from various sectors of the economy are meeting Tuesday morning in the Graphic Business/Stanbic Bank Breakfast Meeting to discuss the implications for the country’s macro-economic stability should Ghana run a budget deficit this year, being an election year.
Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Mr. Seth Terkper and Prof. Felix Asante, Director of the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) of the University of Ghana are key speakers at the event chaired by Mr. Kwaku Awotwi, Board Chairman of Stanbic Bank.

The theme for the meeting is: “Election Year Budget Deficit: Implications for Macro-Economic Stability.” The venue is the Omanye Hall of the La Beach Hotel and the programme is being aired live on a number of radio stations.
