How to stay healthy during this harmattan
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has advised the public to limit outdoor activities to the barest minimum due to the harmattan.
In a press statement dated Monday December 23, the EPA explained that the caution was as a result of an increase in particulate levels (dust levels) observed from the monitoring station at the University of Ghana (UG) and Adabraka.

The EPA is urging the public to take precautionary measures, such as wearing pollution masks, reducing open burning of waste, and watering surfaces before sweeping to minimise dust.
It also advises vehicle users to slow down on untarred roads and to service their vehicles regularly to reduce emissions.
