The Inspector-General of Police, Christian Tetteh Yohuno, has deployed a special investigative team to help probe the death of a 20-year-old Senegalese national, Cheith Toure, in Kumasi.

The statement said the deceased was reportedly sent to the Manhyia Government Hospital on October 16, 2025, by a man named Issah, who claimed to be his brother.

Issah alleged that Toure was involved in an accident, but hospital records show that he was brought in dead with multiple abdominal injuries. The body was later deposited at the Ebenezer mortuary in Tafo.
