
IPMC signs pact with Huawei Technologies
Intercom Programming and Manufacturing Company (IPMC) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Huawei Technologies, China's leading Telecom conglomerate.
Under the agreement, Huawei would use IPMC for its software development contracts in some parts of West Africa.
The deal would also ensure that Huawei Technologies use IPMC as their solutions partner for West Africa.
Huawei Technologies would also use its technical training centre to promote Mobile applications development within the student body of IPMC.

Speaking at the signing ceremony in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer of IPMC, Mr Amar Deep S. Hari, described the partnership as “one which would enhance IT training in the country and the sub-region”.
He said the IPMC would continue to promote Huawei products in West Africa, particularly, Ghana

The Vice President of Huawei, Mr Wan Biao, commended IPMC for its leadership in West Africa and the company’s contribution to ICT development.
He observed that Huawei Technologies, over the past years, had turned itself into a global leader of ICT and telecom solutions, adding that “the company is fast becoming the number one brand in the world”.
