The JePAG is an independent and non-political social organisation made up of persons who have embarked on a pilgrimage to Israel with the sole purpose of following in  the footsteps of God.

The association is also interested in the welfare of all pilgrims and those yet to embark on the pilgrimage to have a united front and to assist them to acquire the necessary documentations for the trip.

The JePAG has Dr E. Owusu Bonsu as its President, Mr Jordan B. Larbie, Vice President; Dr Peace Obeng, Secretary; Ms Emelia Dzang, Financial Secretary; Ms Grace-Joan Afari-Kissi, Treasurer and Rev. George Addow, Programme Co-ordinator.

The rest are Apostle Adusei Nyamekye, Communications Secretary; Dr Spio Eshun, Deputy Co-ordinator and Ms Jennifer Danquah, Deputy Communications Secretary.

Inaugurating the committee in Accra last Saturday, the Presiding Bishop of Winners Chapel Ghana, Bishop George Adjeman, implored the members to endeavour to encourage people to visit the Holy Land.

He expressed the belief that as Christians, it was necessary to visit the Holy Land once in a life time for a life changing experience.

He maintained that visits to the place also amounted to promoting tourism that exposed the greatness of the place to people.

The Minister of Tourism and Culture and Creative Arts, Mrs Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare, who was represented by the Director of Research, Statistics and Information at the ministry, Mrs Olivier Opoku-Adoma, lauded the JePAG for their effort to establish the association.

She said the government was prepared to partner any association that had good intentions for mankind for the common good of Ghanaians.

She was upbeat about the future prospects of the JePAG, saying that their future was bright.
