The MCE and his entourage inspected a completed 12-unit classroom block at the new site of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Senior High School (SHS) at Kantinkrono. The building was completed with funds from the Urban Development Grant (UDG).

The headmistress of the school, Joyce Owusu Ansah, said the MCE's inspection of the project was timely, and requested that the school, which has 2000 students, would need additional 60 classrooms.

Mr Bonsu and his entourage proceeded to Atonsu-Agogo where he inspected two ongoing projects of the Kumasi South Hospital.

A consultant surgeon Dr Frank Abebrese, disclosed that the male and female wards, as well as the special maternity ward, when completed, would increase the patient-bed capacity of the hospital from 60 to 180.

The KMA boss and his entourage also inspected the first phase of works at the KMA Sanitation Court at Asokwa, which  has been completed.

Mr Bonsu tasked the planners and engineers working on the sanitation court to speed up work on the project. He said the  court  would  help instil discipline in the people in terms of proper sanitation and help the KMA enforce its bye-laws on sanitation.
