The two women arrested in connection with the case, Nana Akua Amponsah and Sadalia Sandra Nuhu

Mustapha Kilba, others not in custody

Our attention has been drawn to an error in the Daily Graphic of December 2, 2014 which claimed wrongly that Mustapha Kilba and others arrested by the Bureau of National Investigations in connection with the arrest of Nayele Ametefeh at Heathrow for alleged cocaine trafficking were still in custody.

Mustapha Kilba has since November 27, been released from custody along with Paa Kwesi Acquah, Faisal Khadar, Abdulla Mustrah, Mourn Taafar, Charbel Nasr, and Mariotto Benard Young.

The same error was repeated on our website, www.graphic.com.gh on December 4.

We regret the error in the publications and apologise unreservedly for any inconvenience caused the individuals involved and our readers.

Those still in custody in connection with the case are Alhaji Dawood, Abiel Ashitey Armah, Theophilus Kissi, Abubakar Ahmed, Nana Akua Amponsah and Sadalia Sandra Nuhu. Ruling on their bail applications has been fixed for December 12 and 15.
