No show at resumed Disciplinary Committee sitting

Three members of the Tiger Eye PI last Monday appeared before the Disciplinary Committee probing the seven High Court judges caught on video for allegedly taking bribes to pervert justice.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his team members arrived at the Supreme Court premises at 9.25 a.m. to have a face-to-face with one of the implicated judges and his counsel.

The trio were to be cross-examined by the lawyer of Mr Justice John Ajet-Nasam, one of the implicated judges.

Absence

However, neither Justice Ajet-Nasam nor his counsel showed up after Anas and his team had spent almost two hours before the committee.

At exactly 11.20 a.m., the undercover investigators left the premises of the Supreme Court under the protection of armed policemen.

Attempts by the media to seek reasons why the implicated judge and his lawyer were absent, as well as snippets of what transpired behind the closed-door meeting yielded no outcome.
