In a public notice issued by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on February 1, 2026, police detailed that "investigations have identified suspect Hoyeefi as the leader of the robbery gang responsible for the coordinated attacks on the Nkaseim Police Station, Adwumapa Cocoa Buying Company, Kobby Gold Buying Company, and the Asutifi Rural Bar a area on December 2, 2025."
The announcement, signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawc, Public Relations Officer for the CID, makes a direct appeal to the public, offering a substantial financial incentive.
