The Headmaster of Asuom Presby Basic School, Mr Habib Alhassan expressed his gratitude to RI and USAID for the project and pledged that the facility would be properly maintained and sustained.

He said pipes laid in the area for water supply had been damaged during the construction of the Asuom-Abomusu roads about two years ago, pointing out that the area relied on a single borehole which makes life very unbearable for residents of the area.

The District Supervisor at the Kwaebiberem Education Directorate, Mr Oduro Egyapong urged the school authorities to take drastic security measures to ward off residents around the school from accessing the facility, particularly at odd hours.
