See the areas that will be affected by ECG's planned maintenance on August 20, 2025
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that parts of the Tema and Greater Accra regions will experience power outages on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, due to scheduled maintenance works.
The exercise, according to ECG, forms part of ongoing efforts to improve service delivery to customers. In the Tema Region, power will be interrupted between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in Community 25, Bediako, High Tension, Sackey, Community 21, Tema International School, Bethlehem, White Estates, Goshen, Sebrepor, Gbetsile, and surrounding areas.
In the Greater Accra Region, maintenance works will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., affecting Odorkor, Awoshie, Gbawe, Tetegu, MacCarthy Hill, Weija Junction, Tuba, Kokrobite, Old Bortianor, Old Aplaku, and nearby communities.
The company has apologised for any inconvenience the interruptions may cause and assured customers that the scheduled works are necessary to enhance the reliability of electricity supply.
