See the areas that will be affected by ECG's planned maintenance on August 29
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced planned maintenance works across three regions on Friday, August 29, 2025, as part of efforts to improve service delivery.
In the Greater Accra Region, the exercise will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will affect customers in New Bortianor, Red Top, Fise, Roka, Mericrecent, W.O and surrounding areas.
In the Volta Region, the maintenance works are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Communities expected to be affected include Dave, Ho Airport, Tritrinu, Agbokorpe, Wumenu, Akpokorpe, Agortime, Kpetoe, Ziope and their surrounding areas.
The Western Region will also experience outages from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Areas earmarked for the exercise include Beposo, Nkatieso, Asempanaye, Awaso, Atronsu, Bekwai, Dansokrom, Soprano, Ntrentreso, Paboase, Akoti, Appiakrom, Bosomioso, Aboduam, Baakokrom, Humjibre, Adobewura 182, Ashiam, Adjakaa Manso, Daboase, Kofi Gyan and nearby communities.
ECG, in its separate notices, expressed regret over the inconvenience the planned maintenance would cause to affected customers and assured the public of its commitment to providing reliable power supply.
