Bassaw Education Fund, Ms. Suard Sesay, President of the 1994 Old Students of Tema Methodist Day Senior High School, M94 , expressed the important role the fund will play in helping students of the school pursue their educational ambitions. She also used the opportunity to advise the students of the school to seek realistic life goals that are achievable and time bound".

“We believe this widow’s mite of ours will go a long way to facilitate the progress of many students who would otherwise have dropped out or suffered academically because they are financially handicapped”, she said.

In a fund raising ceremony for the fund, the old students managed to raise an amount of GHC20,000.00 as start up for the educational fund.  This amount was raised by members of the M94 in Ghana, US and UK respectively.

The Headmaster, Rev. John Kwaw Donkoh of the school congratulated the group on their initiative and urged them to continuously give support to the under privileged.
