Both suspects who are said to be on the run are believed to be hiding in Accra.

Briefing the Daily Graphic at Oda last Friday, the Oda Municipal Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Mr Samuel Ntosoh, said on April 2, 2016, Mr Harrison Adenyoh, a machine operator of ARDA Group, went to work at the company’s site at Oda.

Complaints

He said later in the day, Mr Adenyoh complained to the officials that his machine had got stuck in the mud at the site.

DSP Ntosoh said the management of the company managed to remove the machine and invited Mr Adenyoh to a meeting to explain why the machine got stuck in the mud.

He stated that while Mr Adenyoh was giving his explanation, there was a misunderstanding and the two Turkish officials of the company pounced on him; they beat him mercilessly until he collapsed.

DSP Ntosoh said the Turks, who sensed danger that Mr Adenyoh might die, rushed him to the Oda Government Hospital where he was revived by a team of medical personnel.

He said considering the seriousness of the condition of Mr Adenyoh, the medical team referred him to the Ridge Hospital in Accra where he is on admission for specialist attention.

The Municipal Commander said the police had requested the top management of the ARDA Group in Accra to produce the two suspects to assist the Oda Police in their investigations.
